Operator-first control of heavy machinery
Heavy industrial equipment depends on interfaces that are both powerful and genuinely usable on the shop floor — where an unclear reading or a mistimed input has real consequences. That balance was the focus of the work: we designed and built the interactive displays, created user-centric interfaces, and optimized display configuration so the controls stay clear and responsive in a live production environment. The application gives operators direct, touch-driven control and real-time feedback on the presses they run every shift, bringing modern interaction to machinery that would otherwise rely on far more rudimentary panels.
Working across parallel sub-projects
The engagement ran across several parallel sub-projects covering both electric and hydraulic presses, each with its own control and monitoring needs — so the interface had to be flexible enough to represent quite different machine behaviour through one consistent visual language.
The application is built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery on the Atvise SCADA/HMI technology, with Git in the toolchain.
