The core systems
We handled client communication, requirements analysis and team leadership, and delivered the backend, frontend and handheld UI for warehouse and supply management, a desktop reporting tool, a warehouse tool for desktop and handheld devices, and web software for price adjustment and competitor tracking. Owning the work across the stack — and across both desktop and handheld devices — let us keep the whole suite coherent rather than stitched together from disconnected parts.
Extending into sales and stock operations
The engagement grew into several further systems:
- Sales-competition app — tracks results and ranks sales staff across stores, integrated with the retailer's ERP/SAP system.
- Annual stock-count — syncs data from the ERP and creates count packages for in-store mobile counting, turning a stressful yearly exercise into a structured, repeatable process.
- Warehouse & store mobile apps — moving goods on handheld PDA devices, shipping to the retailer's own stores, tracking conveyor and order processing, an in-store availability/location/reservation app, and per-store stock management.
Technology
These systems are built on a wide stack: .NET and C# with MSSQL and MySQL, Angular and TypeScript, WPF, Windows Forms and F# with SOAP/REST on the core; C# (.NET 8), Angular and SAP integration for the sales-competition module; and .NET Core, .NET MAUI, Xamarin Android, Windows Forms, TCP and SAP integration across the stock-count and warehouse apps.
