Our customer is developing information systems for hospitals. Our part was to create a graphic control that represents the occupancy of the beds at certain periods of time. The controls consisted of three controls: on the left side were resources (beds, rooms, sectors, departments), in the upper part of the time line (days, weeks, months) and the central part where patients were placed on beds. In addition to checking occupations, control should allow the addition of new patients as well as the movement of existing ones in rooms and beds.
The project was very interesting to me since I never made such a complex control so far, where there are so many shifts and changes on the screen. It was challenging to optimize the performance so the control worked as fast as it was with a lot of data.
