Our projects

FC-28 · Embedded Battery Management System

For a leading global battery manufacturer, we develop the complete embedded control software for a low-voltage lithium-ion battery module — a 16-cell series module on the client's hardware, engineered for reuse across very different end markets from a single hardware and software base.

FC-28 · Embedded Battery Management System

One firmware, many markets

The firmware measures cell voltages, currents, temperatures and humidity, estimates state of charge and state of health, balances the cells, protects the pack, and reports its condition over an industry-standard communication interface. It is designed for reuse across industrial machinery, automated guided vehicles and warehouse robotics, and recreational vehicles — scaling from a standalone unit up to twenty modules running in parallel, which lets one engineering investment serve many products.

Contract engineering, no black boxes

Our model here is contract engineering rather than a licensed product: we deliver complete, buildable software packages — full source code, build and flash instructions, documentation and test evidence, with no black-box components — so the customer can independently build and maintain the code. The engagement spans the whole product lifecycle, from series-hardware transition and certification support to end-of-line test, calibration and field-update tooling.

Technology

Written in embedded C on ARM Cortex-M with a real-time operating system and an industry-standard battery/vehicle communication protocol stack, supported by in-house desktop diagnostic tooling in Node.js/Electron, automated testing and CI pipelines, and full hardware-lab bench capability — engineered toward the relevant international safety, EMC and battery-certification standards.
